Project Highlights

KWL developed a stormwater management plan for a new residential neighbourhood located in the District of Squamish.  The neighbourhood includes single-family and multi-family units, as well as commercial and amenity use sites.  The stormwater management plan for the development included the design of on-lot and roadside stormwater source control facilities.  These facilities were required to mitigate the frequently occurring runoff from the development.  The facilities were sized to meet the DFO’s Volume Reduction Criteria.  The system has outlets and overflow capacity to carry runoff from large events safely.
