Ocean Spray Canada Cranberry Receiving Facility Water Systems

Project Highlights

KWL was retained by Ocean Spray Canada (OSC) to provide engineering services for the detailed design of site services, process water systems, and wastewater treatment for Ocean Spray’s new cranberry receiving station located in Richmond, British Columbia.

KWL assisted with the permitting processes, detailed design and engineering support during construction for the potable water supply, process water, storm drain, sanitary wastewater, process wastewater treatment, and trash/sludge removal systems.  KWL also provided mechanical layout of the cranberry cleaning equipment, cranberry conveyors and bin loading stations.

The construction of the new cranberry receiving station resulted in improved efficiency and increased capacity for Ocean Spray and the local cranberry farmers.
