Southeast False Creek Neighbourhood Utility Expansion

Project Highlights

The City of Vancouver retained KWL to provide engineering services for the expansion of the Southeast False Creek Neighbourhood Energy Utility.  KWL is the prime consultant for detailed design and construction support.  This project includes the connection of 11 new buildings to the system between 2012 and 2014.  The scope of work includes buildings’ HVAC system design review; detailed design of the distribution piping system; detailed design of the 11 new energy transfer stations (mechanical, electrical and controls); engineering assistance and support during construction.
