Experience

Rob Rutherford leads KWL’s Mine Water Management sector.  He received a B.A.Sc. (honours) in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2011 and a diploma in engineering technology in 1997.  Prior to 2011, he was involved in a wide variety of municipal stormwater management and engineering projects from conceptual design through construction.  Since joining KWL in 2011, Rob has been heavily involved with a wide range of projects related to water management planning, drainage improvements, settling pond design, diversion channel construction, and pond spillway design.  He has also been involved in municipal infrastructure projects (sewer, water, drainage) for the District of Saanich, District of North Saanich, City of Victoria, and the City of Langford.
