Experience
With a master’s degree in Hydrotechnical Engineering, David brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his role as a hydrologic and hydraulic modeller. Over his career, he has become an expert in using cutting-edge modelling software such as MIKE 11, MIKE 21, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, and XP-SWMM.
David’s work focuses on modelling rivers, lowland flood inundation, evaluating flood mitigation alternatives, assessing drainage systems, and developing ISMP and stormwater/drainage plans. He is passionate about low-impact development and constantly seeks out innovative solutions to improve the sustainability of projects. David leads KWL’s Stormwater Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modelling Skill Centre and is supported by a team of intermediate and junior engineers.
