KWL’s Mike Nolan selected as’ Top 20 Over 40’ Business Leader in Greater Vernon

Congratulations to our Mike Nolan for being nominated and selected in the ‘Top 20 Over 40’ by the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber is changing up its Top 20 awards for 2020, as it’s time to shine a light on the role models, mentors and community builders – people who are making their mark through business success and community involvement. There are numerous experienced leaders in the North Okanagan and the primary focus is to highlight the accomplishments of these individuals and their contributions to the community and the economy” said Murray Smith, a partner with KPMG Vernon. “It’s important for residents to have a full appreciation of the entrepreneurs, executives, leaders and professionals that call the North Okanagan home — the individuals who mentor others, create opportunities or allow non-profits to flourish,” said Krystin Kempton, Chamber president.

Mike noted “while I’m honoured to be included with an amazing group of Top 20 recipients, the credit really goes to KWL and the staff in the Okanagan office. KWL has encouraged and enabled community contributions by many of our staff, including involvement in Vernon Search and Rescue, Young Life of Canada, Kalamalka Rotary Starfish Pack Program and more.
