KWL’s Siobhan Robinson Wins ACEC-BC’s 2021 Young Professional Award

On April 29, 2021 The Association of Consulting Engineering Companies British Columbia (ACEC-BC) hosted their 31st Awards for Engineering Excellence Gala. One of KWL’s own, Siobhan Robinson, was chosen for the Young Professional’s Award. According to the ACEC-BC:

“The strength of our industry is the diversity of our people and our commitment to engage, develop, and recognise the contributions of practitioners at all stages of their career. ACEC-BC benefits from the active participation of young professionals across the province, who work with us to inform and advise, and whose leadership by example shows us all how to build an inclusive community. Each year, we recognize an outstanding Young Professional member of our Association who has made significant contributions to our industry through technical performance, community leadership, and professional service.”

An active volunteer, Siobhan commits significant time to sector and professional associations as well as inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers through Science World’s Scientists and Innovators in the Schools Program. In 2015, Siobhan was recognized by the Women’s Executive Network’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women in their Future Leaders category.
