Alan van der Holt

Alan van der Holt is a seasoned Electrical Engineer with a career spanning since 1991 and currently serves as the KWL Electrical Sector Leader and Branch Manager in Nelson, BC.  His diverse portfolio includes numerous electrical and control system designs for pump stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, district energy facilities, and SCADA systems, demonstrating his expertise in the field.

Alan’s broad-based experience extends to PLC/HMI programming, designing and implementing facility electrical, instrumentation and control systems, MCCs, and radio-based systems.  These skill sets showcase his versatility and comprehensive understanding of electrical consulting engineering.

In his leadership roles, Alan not only contributes his extensive industry knowledge but also drives strategic initiatives and oversees the growth of the Nelson branch.  His commitment to excellence, innovative problem-solving approach, and influential leadership style underscore his invaluable contributions to the field and Kerr Wood Leidal Associates.
