Since joining KWL in 1998, Andrew Boyland has proven himself a highly skilled expert in the computer-based analysis of municipal water distribution and sanitary sewer systems.  His knowledge and experience, now as President and Chair of the Board at KWL, have been invaluable in successfully completing numerous complex projects, earning him a reputation as a true leader.

Andrew’s exceptional project management skills, evident in his role as President and Chair of the Board, have been tested numerous times with impressive results.  He has led planning studies for many municipalities across Canada, including Surrey, Trail, Castlegar, and White Rock.  One of his most notable achievements was playing a vital role in developing Surrey’s comprehensive 10-Year Capital Plan for sewer and water.

Andrew’s hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed.  He has received several prestigious awards throughout his career, including an Environmental Award from APEGBC and an Award of Merit from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan.  These accolades reflect his commitment to excellence and innovative infrastructure planning approach.

Through his work, Andrew has significantly contributed to the development of safe and sustainable water and sewer systems in communities across Canada.  His analytical and innovative planning approach has helped ensure that these vital services continue to meet communities’ needs today and in the future.
