Experience

Shona Robinson is a highly qualified environmental engineer with extensive experience in water supply and treatment.  She is currently working at Kerr Wood Leidal, where she has been a part of the team since 2018.  With a Ph.D. in environmental engineering, Shona is passionate about implementing environmental innovation and has a strong experimental background in environmental and green chemistry.

Shona is an engaging oral communicator, having built her teaching skills teaching technical courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level; as a capable writer, she excels at distilling key ideas to bring objectives into focus.  She also has extensive laboratory skills and experience in budgeting for business and research projects.

Shona has served in various leadership roles outside of work, including chairing committees in academia and industry.  She is currently a productive member of the BCWWA Drinking Water Committee and the co-chair of the 2023 BCWWA Annual Conference planning committee.  In addition, Shona regularly contributes as a guest lecturer or panellist in local academic contexts.  Otherwise, she can be found exploring the great outdoors and pursuing culinary experiments!
