Sumita Tayal

Sumita Tayal is the driving force behind KWL’s people strategy. She joined KWL in 2016 as the Director of People & Culture with a diverse background spanning the public and private sectors. Sumita’s expertise lies in building high-performance teams, fostering inclusive cultures, and creating an engaging work environment. As a purpose-driven, results-oriented, and strategically minded leader, Sumita understands the value of leveraging our greatest asset: our people.

She holds a master’s degree in human resources, is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources and is a member of the HR Committee of ACEC-BC. When she’s not shaping our people strategy, Sumita enjoys being a devoted mom to her wonderful twins. Her dedication to creating a fulfilling workplace for all employees sets the foundation for KWL’s success.
