Wastewater Treatment System for Constellation Brands

Project Highlights

Kerr Wood Leidal was retained by Constellation Brands to design a wastewater treatment system at its RJ Spagnols beer and wine facility on Annacis Island.  The system treats the wastewater from its beer-and wine-making-kit operations for pH, TSS and BOD to meet the permit criteria for discharge to the local municipal sewer.

KWL’s engineering services included:

• Detailed design of process water treatment systems
• Contract administration and construction oversight
• Chemical dosing systems,
• Chemical containment, and
• Commissioning.

The wastewater treatment system is successfully meeting the liquid waste discharge permit requirements for TSS, BOD and pH.
